Dubai is one of the world’s
foremost tourist
destinations. The recent
wedding of Nigerian
superstar, Innocent Tuface
Idibia to his long time sweetheart, Annie Macaulay,
in Dubai has further
increased the interest of
Nigerians in this modern day
paradise.
Dubai is home to the world’s first seven star hotel, the Burj
Al Arab, which was opened in
December 1999. It is also
home to the Burj Khalifa
which is the tallest building
in the world. Dubai also houses the JW Marriot
Marquis hotel, which was the
world’s tallest hotel when it
was opened in 2006. This
was, ironically, where Tuface
and his new bride lodged after their wedding. Dubai is home to many world
class stores and malls and has
many beautiful sights and
sounds. The man made
beaches and beautiful sands
are a sight to behold anyday. Dubai also has great weather
so there’s no need to pack
jackets and coats as will be
the case for other
tourist destinations around
the world. Dubai is breathtakingly
beautiful, sunny and warm.
All this and more make it a
real home away from home
