Police declare Anambra commissioner wanted
The Police Special Fraud Unit( SFU) has declared wanted a serving commissioner in Anambra State. The commissioner was alleged  to have obtained money by false pretence.
Commissioner of Police (CP), Special Fraud Unit, Tunde Ogunsakin said the serving commissioner was being hunted over a petition which alleged that sometime between 1996 and 2002, the suspect being the managing director of a firm invited the complainant to invest in his company as a co-director to enable him acquire 34 per cent of the equity at the end of the investment.

The complainant (names witheld) was said to have agreed and paid N10,582,540.00.  The petitioner further stated that the suspect induced him to part with his money by writing several letters, promising and indicating huge potentials of the company, expected turnover and profitability, but he later discovered that he had invested in a non-existing company as the company was not registered with Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC).
