Baby Factory,,,what an inhuman act,,?

A 40-year-old woman, Gladys
Ndu, has been arraigned
before an Asaba Chief
Magistrate’s court on a two-
count charge of allegedly
harbouring pregnant women in her house till after delivery
with intent to sell their
babies. “You Gladys Ndu and others
now at large on the 19th day
July 2012 at Oduke in the
aforesaid magisterial district,
did deal in children by
haboruing pregnant women in your house till after
delivery with intent to sell
their babies and thereby
committed an offence
punishable under section 38
of the Children and Young Persons Law Cap C7 Vol. 1
Laws of Delta State 2006. “That you Gladys Ndu and
others now at large on the
19th day July 2012 at Oduke
in Asaba magisterial district,
conspire among yourselves
to commit felony to wit: dealing in children and
thereby committed an
offence punishable under
section 516 of the Criminal
Code Law Cap C21 Vol. 1 Laws
of Delta State,” Prosecution in the two-count charge
preferred against the accused
stated. The accused pleaded not
guilty to the charge and was
granted bail in the sum of
N200,000 plus a surety who
should be a civil servant not
below level 12 by the trial Chief Magistrate, Mr.
Sylvester Ehikwe, while the
case was adjourned to 15th
of April 2013.
